If you want to run your own business, why not start a home business on the Internet? The rise of the Internet has made possible unprecedented business and income opportunities. You should strongly consider taking advantage of them.
Why would somebody start a home business on the Internet, you ask? There are many reasons.
Working from home via the Internet, you don’t need to stock up on any inventory (unless you choose to start an eBay business, and even then you only need to keep small numbers of items in stock)….You don’t need to find or rent any office space…You don’t need to dress up in a monkey suit…You don’t need to spend a lot of money to be aggravated by a commute…You have extremely low start-up and overhead costs.
Just think about this: on average, a 1900 square foot retail office with a good location for getting shoppers will cost you about $2100 a month. That’s just for your right to have your store there. Now you have to buy lots of inventory and hope you can move it quickly. You have to dress for success…and commute to and from the office…and pay a huge electric bill…and hire employees…and advertise in magazines, in the paper, on public signage…
When you start a home business on the Internet, you have just one employee to pay: yourself. And things will get done the way you want them to get done, when you want them done.
Working via the Internet, all you need to pay for is a good computer, a high speed Internet connection, maybe $20 a month for a quality website host, a one-time fee (typically less than $100) to join an affiliate marketing program if that’s the kind of business you’ll run, and maybe another $15 a month on the home electric bill. What’s more, even your advertising costs on the Internet are extremely low compared to the profits you can make, and most of your advertising can actually be done for FREE.
Even better, with a home based Internet business, not only is a great deal of your advertising free, it can be much, much more accurately targeted.
If you spend even a grand total of $2100 a month for your Internet business you’ll be making huge profits (because that will mean you’re getting a lot of AdWords click-throughs for sales and/or moving a great deal of inventory on eBay).
But what’s more, when you start a home business on the internet, you can not only make huge profits, you can do so working barely more than part-time once you have the business up and running smoothly; you set all your own hours; you take all the holidays you want, whenever you want; you call all the shots; and you can have a lot more family time and personal time.
Why start a home business on the Internet? Because it just may be the opportunity of a lifetime, that’s why!

Some great reasons for starting your own business on the Internet Matt.
I agree about it being the opportunity of a lifetime and I’m glad I finally stopped dithering about and now have my own business up and running.
Good post,
Carol
